The best surf beaches in Australia with campervan

 

1. Mollymook Beach, NSW

TYPE: Beach break

WHY IT'S GOOD: I discovered to surf here. The waves are amicable and there are not too many people around so it's flawless for a beginner.

Expect to glimpse pods of dolphins and whales migrating up and down the coast throughout the year. The water stays equitably chilled all year so don't overlook your steamer.

2. Crescent Head, NSW

TYPE: Beach and point breaks

WHY IT'S GOOD: The surf culture is at its top in Crescent Head. The conditions accommodate all adeptness and know-how, with four perfect right-hand issue breaks that match long boarders, grommets and beginners.

The swell go on for over 100m and board riders flock here to get some of their most memorable waves.

3. Collers in Ulladulla, NSW

TYPE: Reef

WHY IT'S GOOD: On a south enlarge, Collers makes a joy right-hander. It's secluded and not many persons understand about it.

There are many reef breaks along the south coast of Oz, particularly around Ulladulla, and these breaks are large for board riders who are currently standing up and discovering manoeuvres.

Collers is my preferred wave for an intermediate surfer.

4. Garie Beach in Royal National Park, NSW

TYPE: Beach break

WHY IT'S GOOD: There are fewer gatherings, joy swell and attractive view. The beach is open to enlarge so, if it's little everywhere else, it could be worth the drive.

5. D'Bah (Duranbah Beach) in Tweed Heads, NSW

TYPE: Punchy beach break

WHY IT'S GOOD:For a sandy shore shatter, these swell have just a little more power. This surf spot boasts barrels and donates you that additional try taking off quicker than usual.

6. Snapper Rocks in Coolangatta,Queensland

TYPE: Right hander point break

WHY IT'S GOOD: On a large enlarge, you can travel swell all the way to Greenmount and even Kirra. It's best to avoid in summer, as it's one of the busiest breaks in Australia. The first world tour challenge is held here in February/March.

7. Margaret River, WA

TYPE: Heavy beach break

WHY IT'S GOOD: If you desire to dispute yourself in larger surf, Margaret stream is just the place.

A number of world trip surfers flock here to surf the large swell that advances the western seaboard area of Australia. This surf location offers sizeable ground swells and world-class waves.

8. Fleurieu Peninsula, SA

TYPE: Beach break

WHY IT'S GOOD: This is the best place to discover to surf in South Australia.

The state is dwelling to a kind of sea life, in specific great white sharks, so in person I have not ever surfed round this part of Australia.

But you can get some large little swell around here for beginners – just don't overlook to wear a wider wetsuit, as the water resides very cool all year round.
