Deep Creek Conservation Park
A gorgeous mix of green fields and ancient trees, rolling hills and rugged coastlines, Deep Creek Conservation Park is a magical place to explore. And the 15 walking trails help you to do it. Along the way you'll meet the resident western grey kangaroos, short beaked echidnas and 100 species of birds.
This is part of the Melbourne to Adelaide Drive.

Highlights and walks
- Take in the view of Kangaroo Island from Cobblers Hill Picnic Area
- The Blowhole Beach trail which starts from the picnic area at Cobbler Hill has great views of Backstairs Passage and Kangaroo Island. It is a strenuous 2.5 hour hike.
- Goondooloo Ridge Walk also offers great views of the Backstairs Passage and is an easy 2 hour walk.
- Deep Creek Waterfall Walk is a strenuous 2.5 hour hike that leaves from Tapanappa Lookout.
- Go fishing at Blowhole Beach.
- Photograph kangaroos at dusk on the Tapanappa Ridge or Aaron Creek Hiking Trail.

Camping
Campervan and caravan friendly campsites include:
- Tapanappa Campground - By the river with cold showers and walks.
- Stringy Bark Campground - Hot showers near the park headquarters.
- Trig Campground - Cold showers near walks
- Cobbler Hill Campground - Cold showers near Blow Hole Beach.
