Edith Falls (known to local Aboriginal people as Leiliyn), has a pandanus-fringed plunge pool at its base which is perfect for swimming, but it may be closed in the wet season (Nov – Apr). There are other swimming holes which require a walk that we’ve listed bellow.

Edith Falls Swimming and Walks

• Sweetwater Pool is a secluded and peaceful swimming hole on a 9 km return walking track.
• The Upper Pool of Edith Falls is part of a challenging 2.6 km loop trail which can be steep and rocky in places.

Edith Falls Camping

• Leiliyn Campground is right by Edith Falls in the Nitmiluk National Park. It is lush in a natural bush setting with 51 unpowered sites. Facilities include a kiosk, Gas barbecues, picnic tables, toilet facilities, showers.
  RATES: $8.80 adults. $4 children. Pay at the kiosk.
• Free Camping can be found by returning to the highway and traveling north. The Robin Falls Rest Area is right by Robin Falls and very close to Litchfield National Park. You'll need a campervan with a toilet as there are no facilities here.
